**I made it home to be with Yong Hui and the family
**The Camp Red Cloud Bible Study finished Psalm 91
**The Camp Red Cloud Men's Group finished how to be a warrior in the book, The Way of the Wild at Heart
**Had a great time hiking individually and with others in the mountains behind Camp Red Cloud
**Received a lot of good by thoughts and little gifts from loving students prior to my departure
**Had a good month of science and the airplane club at our school.

Prayer Requests for November
*Pray for Yong Hui as we just found out that there still is a large cancer mass and has to undergo more treatment.
*Pray for me as I return to Colorado to be with her
*Pray for the students to Want to Know Christ and the Power of His Resurrection
*Pray for Tammy as she moves into her home in Denver
Praise to God for being a Healing God
Praise to God for being a God Who Provides
Praise to God for giving us His Peace

Highlights for October
*The number one highlight is that Yong Hui finished her chemotherapy treatments and her doctor is sending her to Korea on 6 Nov
*I was named a Deacon for the Camp Stanley Chapel
*We finished the 1st Quarter of the school year
*I am working with two students to go to West Point and or the Air Force Academy and most of their paperwork is complete
*We are enjoying our study of Psalm 91 and of The Way of the Wild Heart
*The rice harvest looks good
*I continue to enjoy the Korean mountain trails as I sing "My knapsack on my Back"
*I was named a Deacon for the Camp Stanley Chapel
*We finished the 1st Quarter of the school year
*I am working with two students to go to West Point and or the Air Force Academy and most of their paperwork is complete

Prayer Requests for October
*Pray for Yong Hui as she has the 12th and final treatment on 7 October. Then pray as she prepares to fly to Korea on 5 November.
*Pray for our school as the 1st Quarter is rapidly coming to an end.
*Pray for me as I lead the Wednesday Bible Study & help with the Men's Fellowship at Camp Red Cloud & teach Sunday School at Camp Stanley.
*Pray I will let my light so shine before the students that they will see my good works and glorify our Father in Heaven.
*Pray for our school as the 1st Quarter is rapidly coming to an end.

September 2008 Highlights
*The biggest highlight has to be that Yong Hui finished the 11th of 12 chemotherapy treatments. The last one was very hard on her physically, but our God is a God Who Heals and has done that for her.
*I preached the sermon at the Camp Stanley Chapel as CH(CPT) Kim was at a marriage retreat. The sermon was on Psalm 91, "A Soldier's Psalm"
*Our school had a very successful Spiritual Emphasis Week with many decisions to follow Jesus.
*The weather has been perfect for hiking the mountains around Camp Red Cloud and for meditating on Psalm 121.
*My students have gotten off to a great start and are integrating Biblical truths into their science lessons.
*We have had good participation in the Wednesday Bible Study and the Men's Fellowship at Camp Red Cloud.
*We celebrated the Korean Thanksgiving 추석 which is done in faith before the harvest.
*The National Honor Society members went to a food kitchen and helped feed 700 poor Koreans on Labor Day. I was proud of them.

Prayer Requests for September
**Pray for Yong Hui as she should have two more chemotherapy treatments. We are claiming that she is healed by the Stripes of Jesus and can't wait to have her in Korea.
**I am preaching at the Camp Stanley chapel on 31 Aug because CH(CPT) Kim is away visiting his in-laws.
**I am leading the Bible Study at the Camp Red Cloud coffe house on Psalm 91
**I need to be light and salt before my students and my fellow teachers
**This is the 25th anniversary of our school and it is also the time of our accreditation validation. Pray for us during that busy time.
**I am preaching at the Camp Stanley chapel on 31 Aug because CH(CPT) Kim is away visiting his in-laws.

**Yong Hui finished her 8th and 9th chemotherapy treatments. Her last one is scheduled for the 1st week in October.
**School started with 7 new and very energetic teachers who are going to make a positive impact on our school
**School started for me with physics, chemistry, AP physics, and biology.
**I was able to hike up the mountains around our garrisons.
**We have some very interesting Bible studies on Psalm 91 and on the Names of God. I am also doing Beth Moore study on The Psalms of the Assent.
**I believe in the Korean saying, "A good start is half done" I think we have that good start.
**The Korean Olympic team did well and everyone was excited about their success.
